Terms of Service
The terms on which CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD quotes, contracts and delivers cleaning services. Where a signed scope of works conflicts with anything on this page, the signed scope wins.
1. Using this website
The content on cleanbestcommercialcleaning.com.au is provided for general information. We keep it accurate and current to the best of our ability, but nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no figure, timeframe or service level described here binds us until it appears in a written scope of works issued for your specific site.
2. Quotes and scopes of works
Quotes for commercial sites are issued only after a site walk. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued unless it says otherwise. The scope of works accompanying it is the operative document: it lists each task and the frequency band it sits in, and it is the standard against which the work is measured by both of us.
Where a quote states that an item is outside the scope — a licensed trade, a specialist service, a task we have told you in writing we do not perform — that item remains your responsibility to appoint separately.
3. Pricing
Prices are fixed against the agreed scope and confirmed in writing before mobilisation. Periodic programmes such as carpet extraction and hard-floor restoration are quoted and scheduled separately from the recurring figure. If you ask us to add work, we requote it — we do not absorb it by quietly dropping something else, and we do not invoice a variation you have not approved.
4. Term and termination
Cleaning agreements roll month to month. Either party may end the agreement by giving 30 days written notice. There is no minimum term, no exit fee and no automatic price uplift. We may suspend or end an agreement immediately where a site becomes unsafe for our operators, where access is not provided as agreed, or where invoices remain unpaid after reasonable notice.
5. Access, safety and site conditions
You agree to provide the access described in the scope, to tell us about hazards on the site before our operators encounter them, and to maintain the site in a condition that allows the work to be performed safely. Our operators will not work in conditions they reasonably consider unsafe, and where a shift cannot be worked for that reason we will tell you the same day and agree how to proceed.
6. Our people
Operators are employed and supervised by us. They are police-checked before their first shift and hold a Working with Children Check where the site requires it. They will not move heavy items, handle personal property, work at unsafe heights, or perform any task outside the written scope. Please do not ask them to — direct requests to the supervisor named in your scope.
7. Standard of work and rectification
Where work falls short of the agreed scope and you tell us within a reasonable time, we will rectify it at no charge, normally before your next scheduled visit. This applies to items inside the scope. It does not extend to tasks we told you in writing we do not perform, or to conditions that are matters of wear, damage or age rather than cleanliness.
8. Insurance and liability
We carry $20m public liability of public liability cover and workers compensation for every operator, and certificates of currency are supplied before mobilisation. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law permits, our liability for any claim is limited to re-performing the affected services or refunding the amount paid for them.
9. Payment
Invoices are issued monthly in arrears for contract work and on completion for periodic and project work, and are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. Where an account remains unpaid after reasonable notice, we may suspend service until it is brought up to date.
10. Confidentiality and privacy
Our operators work in your building outside your hours and will see things. What they see stays inside the building. We handle personal information as described in our privacy policy, and we expect the same discretion of our people that you would expect of your own.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
